Life insurance policies rarely ever perform exactly as they were initially projected. Interest rates have declined and put substantial pressures on the life insurance company's investment portfolios. Most existing life insurance policies require some form of remediation to get them back on track. If it cannot be fixed a more suitable and current replacement should be considered.
